April 2017: Month in Review

What I’ve Been Up To:

Blogging:

My epic reading binge has come to a decided halt, as I burned myself out/went on vacation. *insert shruggy emoji here* I need the break, and I’m still way ahead of any year’s reading previously.

Shenanigans:

As of this writing, I’m hanging out with Gillian (Writer of Wrongs) and Gaby! So, you know, life is good. We went to Disney, and it was super fun, though exhausting.

  1. Heyyyy you dnf’d The Wanderers too! I officially don’t feel bad. lol I found myself in a bit of a reading slump as well although instead of not wanting to read anything, all I wanted to read were non-fiction history books. Which is the weirdest thing ever, at least for me. lol Glad to hear you had fun at Disneyland! Did you get to go to harry potter world too? 🙂

We thought about doing Harry Potter world, but the cost/not wanting to walk around that much again precluded it. I think I may do Orlando at some point, since it’s more established and has more actual rides.

The Wanderers was so boring. I got to a chapter where it was the Japanese guy’s wife and she was walking around their house wearing a sleep mask, effectively blind, and thinking about how THIS was true art because she was doing it just for her, not selling it or having other people admire it, and I was like UMMM NO BYE.
