June: Month in Review + Monthly Box Giveaway

Books Reviewed in June
Obviously, I’m not doing so well with my plan to post once a day. I’ll try to do that, but I have review deadlines to meet, so I have to do what I have to do, and I will regret nothing. It was a pretty great month for reviews, since only two reviews were negative and the rest ambivalent. Success!

*stares at all the four-star books* You definitely had a good month. I’m jealous! I haven’t read too many good books lately. Hopefully this keeps up for you. 🙂

  5. Ems says:

4.5 stars to Faking It? Now I’m glad that I picked it up on my Kindle. I’d been having mixed feelings, but seeing so many people around the web loving it makes me hopeful. 🙂

  6. Pabkins says:

That’s so wonderful that you said any or all – hopefully the winner will not grab all the books if they aren’t interested in them!! So save you some shipping costs haha!! You’re so sweet!

    • Christina says:

Actually, it would be more shipping costs, because I’d probably send the ARCs unclaimed off to friends or LBBA, but I’d rather they go to someone who actually wants them than forcing them on people!

  7. Bonnie R says:

Awww… you don’t want to keep the Paullina Simons series in your house? Don’t plan a re-read? Lol I know after your review of book 3 that was like the nail in the coffin and book 1 is no longer in my house. I find myself intrigued by Faking It (or Losing It, since that’s book 1) but me and New Adult? No. Not friends. But I keep hearing it’s fabulous nonetheless… may have to give it a shot one of these days. 🙂

  8. Amy says:

Ohh there’s a few books in there that I have my eye on!! You had a pretty good month for reviews. It’s always nice when you enjoy the majority of them.

  9. I got Cold Fire recently from Paperback Swap so I will most definitely be checking out your review of that one once I have read it:) And I LOVED Faking It, I have been on a real NA and Adult tear lately in my reading, I need to check out your review. Reading Finding It this fall is something I am really looking forward to:)

Impressive list, Christina! I don’t know how you read and review so much–I’m in awe!

  10. Kami says:

This is sad, but I haven’t heard of any of those books.

  11. I need to move to the US just so that I can enter to win your epic monthly giveaways!

  12. Tammy says:

My most loved book for June, Pivot Point by Kasie West- can’t wait for Spilt Second and my most annoyed (I want to claw my eyes out) Paper Towns by John Green. I listened to the audiobook and I wish never again to hear the name Margo Roth Spiegelman. I should have read the one star reviews before. My current audio book is Doll Bones by Holly Black, much better 🙂

  13. Anita Yancey says:

Thanks so much for having this great giveaway.

  14. Wow, you got a lot read and reviewed this month, congrats! I also like how you split it all under what you rated them. Great giveaway as well 🙂 I hope you enjoy your July!

  15. Shelver506 says:

I was looking just to look, because of course I don’t need any books. Then BOOM, Chillax and Charm & STrange smacked me on both cheeks. So of course I entered.

  16. Tricia C. says:

It would be very tough to choose from this list, but Rainbow Rowell’s name jumped out at me. Loved Eleanor and Park! Charm & Strange sounds very intriguing. So many books to read!!

  17. So many to choose from! Thanks for the informative reviews.
